{"id":504,"date":"2011-09-10T20:21:05","date_gmt":"2011-09-11T02:21:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.cchrstl.org\/wordpress\/?p=504"},"modified":"2024-07-14T05:42:27","modified_gmt":"2024-07-14T10:42:27","slug":"teen-involuntarily-intoxicated-by-depression-drugs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cchrstl.org\/wordpress\/2011\/09\/10\/teen-involuntarily-intoxicated-by-depression-drugs\/","title":{"rendered":"Teen involuntarily intoxicated by depression drugs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to an August 17, 2011 news article in the Edwardsville Intelligencer (Madison County, Illinois), &#8220;A teenager was insane and &#8216;involuntarily intoxicated&#8217; by prescription depression medicine when he gunned down two sleeping neighbors in a tiny southern Illinois town before trying to kill himself with a staple gun in his garage, his lawyer told\u00c2\u00a0jurors at the boy&#8217;s murder trial.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Sixteen-year-old Clifford Baker\u00c2\u00a0had been prescribed an antidepression drug two weeks prior to the shooting.<\/p>\n<p>Psycho\/pharma spends billions of dollars a year marketing mental &#8220;disorders&#8221; and drugs for kids\u00e2\u20ac\u201dyet these drugs are documented by international drug regulatory agencies to cause mania, psychosis, hallucinations, suicide, violence, homicidal ideation, heart attack, stroke and death.
