{"id":207,"date":"2009-08-15T11:27:43","date_gmt":"2009-08-15T17:27:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cchrstl.org\/wordpress\/?p=207"},"modified":"2024-07-14T05:43:45","modified_gmt":"2024-07-14T10:43:45","slug":"where-the-truth-lies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cchrstl.org\/wordpress\/2009\/08\/15\/where-the-truth-lies\/","title":{"rendered":"Where the Truth LIES"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>All neuropsychiatric theory and practice and the entire modus operandi of  dispensing psychiatric drugs to both children and adults rests on the  <em>Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders<\/em>, otherwise known  as the DSM.<\/p>\n<p>CCHR&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cchr.org\/#\/videos\/making-a-killing-introduction\"><em>Making A  Killing<\/em> documentary<\/a> exposes the DSM as a grab bag of so-called mental  disorders, which are literally voted into existence so that criminal  psychiatrists may enjoy &#8220;multiple billing options&#8221; with health insurance  companies.<\/p>\n<p>The DSM also comes in handy when psychiatric drug manufacturers find it  convenient to market new drug lines. While it is one thing to hear of such  matters from CCHR, it is quite another to hear it from abusive psychiatrists  themselves. That is the subject of the new video presentation <em>Where the  Truth Lies<\/em>. If someone has only five or six minutes to absorb the whole  story, this is the video to watch.
